Belle Montagne Members Club makes its debut with an ultra-rare 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon

Founders Nick and Roslyn Holland collaborate with winemaker Coenie Snyman to create 1,000 bottles of 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon. When you’re knee-deep in a career in mining, you’re probably going to cultivate a deep appreciation for gold. And if you’re anything like Nick Holland, you’ll love it for not just as a precious metal, but a symbol of beauty and rarity—the same attributes that form the foundation of an appreciation for exceptional wine.
Holland, a businessman, and his wife, Roslyn Holland, saw the opportunity to elevate South African wines to international prestige, and put that vision to work in Franschhoek Valley, one of the country’s most celebrated culinary and viticultural regions. Together, they breathed new life into an old farm, uprooting the existing vineyards and starting anew as the Belle Montagne Members Club. Using Vinpro’s advanced heat mapping and soil analysis, the ideal varietals for the land were identified, and by 2027, the first vintage will be ripe and ready.
