Holland, a businessman, and his wife, Roslyn Holland, saw the opportunity to elevate South African wines to international prestige, and put that vision to work in Franschhoek Valley, one of the country’s most celebrated culinary and viticultural regions. Together, they breathed new life into an old farm, uprooting the existing vineyards and starting anew as the Belle Montagne Members Club. Using Vinpro’s advanced heat mapping and soil analysis, the ideal varietals for the land were identified, and by 2027, the first vintage will be ripe and ready.
